I'm surprised the ABSURD USE OF CAPITAL LETTERS didn't tip you off sooner. (Is it supposed to be ironic or something?)

I'd say it's a lot more likely to rhyme with either "shmutin" or "shmukraine."
My thoughts exactly. Russians know how to handle dissidents - hasn't he ever heard of Anna Politkovskaya?
I see what you mean about Dortmund being a selling club...but every club in Germany is (and probably always will be) a selling club except Bayern. And Klopp has won trophies in Germany whereas in the PL he wouldn't win anything, not as long as Chelsea, MU, and City continued their race to outspend each other. If I…
Gunners fan here. I see your point about Levy, but IMHO he did the right thing here, just like Ellis Short did the right thing firing Paolo di Nazio. Both managers did good things last season, acquired a bunch of players in the off season, and couldn't get good results this year. Yes, you want to build something...but…
Why would Klopp would leave Dortmund for Spurs? It's a downward move at this point.
"Who even has the GALL to ask a stupid question like that?!"
.
Interesting - thanks.
Fair enough. My only point was that Vasco and Paranaense aren't "bitter rivals", as the OP said.
But if you're like most Arsenal fans you hate Spurs, United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Stoke a lot more. There's nothing special or historically important about an Arsenal-Everton match; it's just two teams in the same league.
You should learn more about Brazilian football - Vasco and Paranaense aren't rivals any more than, say, Arsenal and Everton.
One other thing: it's a definite advantage to play Germany last, because they will probably have qualified already and might rest their best. We will probably be in a "win or go home" situation.
Seems reasonable to me. Portugal tied Northern Ireland and Israel (twice) in qualifying - they're not that strong. Ghana lost to Zambia. I'm not saying either team is easy - I'd rather we were playing Algeria - but both are beatable by the US.
Not unless that nurse is getting 20,000 people to attend each of his/her nursing shifts, and another few million to watch on TV.
Wikipedia can have a lot of BS, but the article on this case has hundreds of footnotes and is pretty complete.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you. If you're saying college football players should be paid, I agree. But if you're saying academies would do a better job of ensuring that players are not exploited and/or would do a better job of preparing them for non-sports life, I disagree.
If you think soccer-style academies leave their players any better prepared to enter society, you really need to learn more. Read about Nii Lamptey, for example, or watch the documentary "Soccer's Lost Boys":
Maybe he can work with Ray Lewis - I've heard Ray's schedule is murder.
That's why I never trust anyone named "Barry" - why wouldn't you just stick with "Bar" like a grown man?
