I suggest you calm down. I'm just pointing out a few things. Reading a few reviews will never replace actual gameplay. Reviews are mostly meant to give a rough idea of the game, then people might take a closer look at the game, not necessarily buy it outright.

I believe you got the wrong person there. I'm perfectly aware of Brazil, Russia, India and China situations, unlike some.

And what about the countries without renting? Or the games with a DRM preventing that? What when there is no demo?

That's not the point. Statistics from media or whatever developper are wrong no matter how they try to slice it. You cannot link a pirated copy to a lost sale, period.

I think the ones targeted by "sharks" are the rabid fans/journalists always asking the same thing agressively, ready to eat him if he dares not answer. His answer was the equivalent to "Get lost.", but much more subtle.

Not really comparable. A real MMO has to deal with security issues and server checks.

We don't know how many people bought this yet. It's a bit easy to compare to the latest MMO/online releases when they had to deal with 1M+ simultaneous logins, sometimes many more.

Thank you, much appreciated.

Yes, please elaborate and give a link if possible, thank you.

In US, I don't see a reason for servers. In Europe and Asia? Definitively needed so people have the options to choose to play with other people speaking the same language.

The religious types seriously need to stay out of anything involving freedom of expression, especially arts and video games.

For some reason I read opening of the Olympic Hunger Games 2012, then I reread and was disappointed :(

Just one month left. Take that time to spend with family and lover(s) because they won't see you again after.

Good, this time I hope they listened to the players who screamed bloody murder during the original FFXIV beta telling them to stop living in their own little world and look at what western MMOs were attempting.

That's something you need to work on. Most people in BWE3 complained about lack of XP because they didn't know there were other zones to XP in.

That is something you need to make much clearer for release. Too many people are complaining they do not have the required level to continue story after finishing the previous zone because they don't know they have 4+ other zones to use.

Do you believe the remaining time will be enough to address some of the most vocal issues that were raised during BWE#3 (such as class balance, downed state in sPvP, exp rate in PvE, racial elites in WvW) ?

I hope you are joking. Both communities, and soon DOTA 2 as well, have some of the worst scum video gaming has ever seen.
