Diablo has never been a game about the ending of a story or did you miss the whole Nightmare, Hell and Inferno difficulties with improved items?

Guild Wars 2 says "hi" !

What you experienced is still up to discussion and adjustments as far as devs said. But basically, they said if you are struggling with XP at any point in the game to gain levels and feel obligated to "grind", then it means you concentrated too much of your time on one particular part of the game.

I think both can coexist. However, once GW2 launches, people will find it very hard to pay 9$+ a month for access to a MMO, so eventually FFXIV might become F2P at which point I believe it will be a real powerhouse if v2 does not disappoint.

Or you could play guild Wars 2 when it's out and just have fun because playing more won't make you more powerful, just better looking.

You didn't bother looking past the first minute, did you? He kills Butcher in 3 hits. Same for Belial 3rd phase.

My RL friend list is growing with D3 icons, not diminishing.

I wouldn't listen to people honestly. Most of them are disgruntled D2 veteran who are pissed D3 is not an exact copy with better graphics.

Rofl, I give you a reference, you give nothing. And frankly I don't care. I know I'm right and you are wrong too, so we'll have to agree to disagree.

No, that's not a common misconception. A game like World of Warcraft which put so much emphasis on multiple small and easy quests to gain XP after Burning Crusade, created a quest grind.

Not entirely true, grind is doing the same thing over and over to gain XP, be it quests, crafting or no quest at all and just killing mobs.

Farming by exploiting game flaws or poor design is not how it should be done, simple as that.

Stop beating a dead horse. The Inferno gear was not meant to be farmed in blue gear with a 8k HPs Wizard. Farming gear through mass game creation and particular spots with weapon stash and no mob is also beyond what was intended.

You probably used the same email/pw somewhere else.

Most people are fine with always online, but most are also not fine with servers being unavailable for play past launch madness and out of emergency/planned maintenance.

Making a copy is not stealing, but copyright infringement, big difference.

To be honest, I've seen error 37 only twice and the game is extremely good.

It's the same thing with every freaking release of an online game, yet people never learn and still try to hammer the servers the second they are up. I understand the impatience, but c'mon. You could just go to sleep and play on the next day.

It's not been cracked. If you saw a file claiming it is, well it's most likely a virus.

You are missing the point.
