I think at least part of that is that sedans aren’t “family cars” anymore, crossovers and trucks (and some minivans) are. They are basically todays “personal luxury coupe” like the ‘70's Cutlass’, Monte Carlos, T-Birds and the like. They are driven by Dad to and from and during work and the back doors and seats are

Willy’s on Delk?

And since this data was collected over the course of a decade you can divide those numbers by 10 to get deaths per year.

I have the 6, I also have a 56 ft. elevation change just in my yard, so yes some hills.  From the outside the biggest difference between newer and older is the little spoiler on the tailgate that the newer ones have and the back up sensors on the bumper.

I’m not saying a full EV wouldn’t also work, but this works in more situations and stops me from having to have/rent another vehicle for road trips or days where my errands involve running all over town and putting a couple hundred miles on.

And what’s the point of having the added cost of electric if you’re only getting 31 miles range?

Unfortunately, here in GA all you need is a pulse to get a permit to carry.

This was in Georgia, almost everyone has a pistol in the glove box.
