I got 2nd place in a parking competition once. I over did the hand brake a little bit on my last run and didn’t quite make it into the spot. That was super fun; I can’t believe car companies would want to kill fun like that.

Why did you turn!?
Exactly! I’m glad at least some people understand. lol
They should make Uber’s surge pricing illegal. Price controls totally work. While we’re at it, gasoline should be $1.50/gal all the time.
There goes his Politifact ranking...
Is there an instructable or something so I can turn my optical mouse into a speed/slip sensor?
Guys, the reason for injecting air into the exhaust manifold is exactly because it creates back pressure. Power available to the turbine is very roughly speaking, volume times pressure; adding air to the exhaust stream adds a bit of volume, but also adds pressure because the engine is still pumping out exhaust gases…
Needs more wheel spin. :)
Russians don’t take a dump, son, without a plan.
The chevrons are vortex generators which reduce noise by stabilizing the mixing of the high velocity bypass air and ambient air. The energy used for creating these particular vortexes doesn’t make any other part of the plane more efficient aerodynamically, so they waste some energy in exchange for the reduced noise.
Assuming the passenger is sitting in a seat, the New Horizons view should be upside down and a little dark around the edges from pulling four+ Gs inverted to stay at that altitude as you traveled around the Earth...
It must work... that guy passed a Miata on the track!
If you can keep it under control. If not, locking all all the wheels will prevent the car from changing direction as well as slowing the car pretty much as quickly as possible in such a situation. I don’t know how pre stability control ABS systems would behave in such a situation, though it would at least slow the car…
“Also, apparently when we get there I’m going to have to........pick tiny pieces of glass out of my skin.”
If only the stand-on-the-brakes-until-everything-stops panic had kicked in...
Real man back up trailer with ego. This feature not for real man. Grunt!, grunt!
It looks to me like that string is giving everyone the finger the whole time.
You can see that the air travels slower on the bottom of the wing on that C-27, as evidenced by the tighter spacing of the helical chemtrails.
I believe that is either a detonation cord or a shaped charge to blow a hole in the canopy for the ejection seat.
Actually, the intakes are far larger than they need to be in forward flight, so there is definitely no "suction" being caused by the engine in this photo.
