I’m the same age as Elizabeth and her story, since she was missing to when she was found and beyond, has always stayed with me. Primarily how she schooled Nancy Grace during an interview, and how she talked about how her school and church’s teachings of purity negatively impacted her after she returned home.

I’m on board with this. With every coach customer crammed into 17.2” wide seats, ain’t nobody getting a full can of soda. You get the full can of beer because you pay $8 for it.

Muslims cause problems wherever they go - even small slights (of which we all suffer all the time) become reasons to bemoan the world and remind us how we all treat Muslims poorly. Fuck her and her religious privilege - even Buddhists - those who will walk around an ant to keep from killing it, have been so provoked

It’s a 200 year old bride that is a designated historic monument. It’s deteriorating due to people’s romantic gestures. That's not a good trade-off.

So, you’re suggesting that people have been able to experience and enjoy romance in Paris without purchasing, placing and leaving behind as structurally compromising litter, a mass produced padlock (the longstanding, international symbol of the the truest of true loves)?

I was not adequately prepared for how powerful this movie is. I spent the first half-hour reeling from how fucked up the “milking” scene was (all, what? 15 seconds of it?) - THE CREEPY DOLLS THE NURSING WOMEN WERE CUDDLING WAS SO FUCKING AWFUL. I also had serious feelings of “I am a cow” when I had to pump and so

Do you know how many things that I actually get to like? Its like I like my dog and Patti Smith and that’s it. JUST LET ME HAVE THIS.

I’ve been dealing with unemployment on and off for a really long time and honestly? Make sure you take care of yourself. Exercise helps with anxiety and depression, make sure you’re seeing your friends so that you can get a social boost and find something that takes your mind off of things, if you can. That can be

MAD MAX DISCUSSION THREAD!!!!

I had never seen “Friends” until I started watching it my Netflix queue.

gimme your unemployment stories and your coping strategies. I have read about this a lot already but it feels good to hear from others who have been in the same situation. And how do you cope when your first career doesn't work out and you have to switch over to another path?

Scrambled. I'm so boring.

I am so happy right now. I finally have a Saturday night with no obligations, so I’m ordering enough pizza for 3 people, opening a bottle of wine, and catching up on my DVR’d episodes of Orphan Black. INTROVERT HEAVEN.

Stories about elderly gay couples finally being able to marry result in me crying about 97% of the time, topped only by heroic dog stories (98.5% chance of crying).

That seems like the kind of attitude that allows them to keep getting away with it.

Our 14-year-old lab/border collie cross passed away last week and we kissed her all the time. One of her tricks was, “Kisses for cheese!” and she would jump in the air, press her muzzle against my mouth and she’d get cheese as a reward. I would kiss her nose, her forehead, her paw. Man, I miss my dog.

I’ve had to stop on at least 2 occasions because my GPS had no idea where I was fucking going.

Asks for FUCKING DIRECTIONS WHEN OBVIOUSLY LOST.

First off, it’s ‘advice’ with a ‘c’. Secondly, stop fucking married men. You’re not nearly as in control as you think and this is going to end badly

I’ve been there. I’m there now. I thought I was over Married Man but I’m not. I understand the strange intense pull. Let’s make a list of strengths and challenges. Strengths: the sex is good, they seem to have an open marriage, you deserve fun! Your smart, attractive, accomplished and have a good future ahead of you.
