if it’s any consolation, the unofficial English translation patch is very good

This is what convinces you? Not the flame thrower. Not the spat with the SEC. Net the pedo guy thing, but this “truck?”

The Spruce Goose held the record for heaviest flown aircraft until 1952, when the B-52 Stratofortress first took flight, and the record for largest wingspan until April of this year, when Stratolaunch made its first test flight. This was mostly because of the wood construction, the wings needed to be big to spread the

Oh sure, you could bring up the safety issues of a cab-over designs, but I can make your car look dangerous too if I jammed a rabid puma inside of it. Cab-over vehicles are just population control, it’s why they’re still allowed in places like India and China on many of their vehicles. We stopped doing it in NA

You could have at least removed the pole from up your ass before registering your complaint.

Sorry but Airlines are not the business hill I would choose to defend. Saying people shouldn’t book these tickets because they are taking away possible seats from other passengers is ridiculous in a business that regularly over-sells seats and punishes paying customers based on this practice. If they take the guns out of the packaging the value goes down by like, $100.

Ditto.

This would be a crap off roader, and a worse than stock road bike. Plus, this is the going price for a REALLY nice condition stock one.

This is a 750 dollar bike.

it’s the wrapped straight pipe that bother me most.

Long ago I owned the ancestor of this, the CM200 Twinstar. Slightly smaller engine, 4-speed transmission, and honestly the drum brakes were adequate. There just wasn’t enough weight in the bike to soak too much heat into the drums, even when I rode it at WOT for 5 hours coming up Hwy 1 in California.  Seriously 5

CP all the way. These are only worth like $1000 in my area and those ones won't have the stupid knobbies or the straight pipes.

Shameless plug away! As it turns out, I have a similar year CB250 (and hasn’t been butchered!) in the garage about to be put up on Craigslist, so you are not alone.

No, just no. This bike didn’t cost that much new, 25 years ago. It’s not rare, unique, or in anyway collectible. I’m a fan of 90's Japanese bikes and these were meant for those folks that thought a Rebel was too butch. The “improvements” clearly diminish what value the bike once had.

Can we even say “straight pipes” if he just cut them off at the mufflers? There’s barely any pipe left.

There is also something to be said of the frustration of a carb that isnt working just right, in a bank of 4-6 of the things. Like on an old Honda.

Rebuilding a carb is like building your own light saber, your skills are not complete without doing it.
