“They took er jerbss”

You just have to run, Forest, run!

This looks surprisingly good for a total conversion mod. It’s already pretty astonishing to see a total conversion mod come to completion! Too bad it doesn’t sound like Upheaval and his team were hired by Blizzard...

Only because they patched it in later.

That is true, but in most cases where you are being robbed they just want your money not your life. Otherwise they would shoot you first. Ofc you never know and there is always a risk...

You could always get stabbed even if guns didn’t exist at all (and they would still exist even if they were illegal). Not saying this situation was great or anything, since both victim and perp got shot...

Heroes 3 was so damn good! Makes me wonder why the rest were all shit... Maybe because they changed the art style and graphics? It would’ve been so damn good if they just kept on making sequels in the same style...

That’s why I bought the Witcher 3 even though I didn’t have the time for it. Still haven’t gotten around to it... have to finish 2 first.

While Valve may have never directly received revenue from these illegal gambling operations, they have profited massively from the inflated value of and increased demand for skins... They’d have to pay me to use Uplay...

The F-35 dropped its load all over Gaza’s disagreeable visage?

Which is why I said “at best”. What you are pre-ordering with kickstarter is not the product but a promise of the potential product (which could be very different than what was even promised in the first place).

Right, my problem however is that these type of funding schemes shouldn’t be thought of as financial investment, because you don’t get a stake in the company but a promise to the (eventual possibility) of a product.

It was clearly a ridiculous concept. Might as well crowdfund an orbital elevator or world peace.

Right, but even in the case where it didn’t fail you aren’t getting a return. You are getting a product. Crowdfunding is pre-ordering at best.

A pre-order promise is not a financial investment or any other type of investment.

That’s exactly what they are doing. You can expect them to finish the rest when they get more money, i.e. never.

That’s not how investing works at all.

Crowdfunding isn’t an investment at all. You are just adding to the confusion by misinforming your readers...

It’s not that he kept his mouth shut, rather we couldn’t understand what he was saying! His English finally got better though.
