You should be able to run it on high settings on 1080p minus AA, or at least medium-high settings. I have a 7970 and I've been able to max out everything I've bought recently. Shadow of Mordor I even installed the 4k texture pack even they were saying it was going to take 6GB of V-RAM (my 7970 is the 3GB one).
