Possibly... but the reality is.. on diesel trucks running an appropriate tune would fix that problem. Too much fuel for the amount of air getting in the cylinders. I’m not opposed to the occasional puff of smoke a normally tuned diesel puts out, but the coal roller idiots... mmm ruining diesels for all of us.
