Just because that’s all that you do with computers, doesn’t mean that this development is not important for those of us that rely on ever increasing capability to get our work done.
Excellent article Torch. It’s also worth noting that Audi (then Auto Union) also has an unusual sorted history probably worth its own article that has a large amount of history with the Nazi party. Also Porsche and awesome GP cars.
To be fair, RPGs create destruction much differently than kinetic energy weapons like bullets. Therefore, protecting and armoring against them requires different strategies.
A couple of things:
Of course they do. The USSR at least had the good sense to launch over places that no one lives and use LOX and kerosene as their first stage propellants. They may have had questionable safety in other areas but that's kind of beside the point.
In case anyone was wondering, I actually did some math to figure out how much fuel New Horizons would need to orbit Pluto: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/why-new-horizo…
I like your spirit but that’s not really how planetary transfer works. The distance between Earth and Mars is constantly changing since they’re in different orbits. I had a college professor that said the best way to get a perfect score was to cheat.

According to Wiki, most small (<=2,000lbs) bombs use an explosive called Tritonal which is a mixture of TNT and aluminum powder. The daisy cutter is listed as using aluminum nitrate…
While watching ridiculous action movies starring Arnold, I try not to think about stuff like that too much. I watched Totall Recall the other day and still enjoyed it despite wild inaccuracies of depressurization. I usually just enjoy them for the fact that they are ridiculous.
I’ve been to the Field museum several times since moving to Chicago and Sue is truly impressive. Being able to look up and think “what was she like all those years ago?” is something that is really inspirational.
I dated a girl who would stretch before sex. Foot cramps were the ones that got me.
3D-printed electric violin sounds as good as the real thing*
One of my personal favorites:
Also notable:
To be fair Stef, the hoods are like 4 plies of carbon fiber now rather than actual OEM hoods.
