I’ve said it on other threads about non-pneumatic tires but it’s worth repeating: the biggest issues I see with these are debris getting stuck in them, heat, and aerodynamics. It works fine for low speed vehicles but standard pneumatic tries will likely be superior for passenger cars for the foreseeable future.
I was thinking something similar. Although I haven't been in the cockpit of an F-16, they may be too big but that's pure speculation. A machine pistol is likely much smaller. FN57?
