Duel of the Fates was an awesome score though. Probably one of my favorite movie scores of all time.

The Capri uses a 1.6L DOHC (B6D) and I only listed the BP engines according to Wikipedia. Good catch if Wiki is wrong though.

Mazda B engine line. For starters: Miata.

Shit, rebuilds on pro-level rally suspension costs more than my rally car.

We cooked them for a fairly long time, maybe 3 hours or so, and they turned out pretty good. I think I like the taste of post sear a little better but for a largeish group like we did, pre-sear is the way to go.

I pre-seared. I kept joking that we have an acetalyne torch in the shop that we could sear them with but the pre-searing worked out pretty well.

We passed the hat around the day before and I ended up buying the steaks, paper plates, plastic silverware, and 10 lbs of potatoes. I cooked the potatoes that night and seared the steaks. In Chicago, 20 over could be as slow as 65 on the interstate. 65 is about the minimum speed you should be going on the interstate in regular flowing traffic.

Personally, I think the power increase would have a much bigger affect than the weight. 35 lbs isn't too bad to deal with but another 75 hp? That's a ton not only for the structure of the car, durability of the driveline, but the cooling system as well.

OOOH! That would be a fun one to participate in. Where do I sign up?
