I heard of people doing this with ice augers but I couldn't find any proof.

I have been a huge fan of the series and honestly, this was probably the series that got me into cars in the first place. If the action sequences are cool (let's face it, from the trailer, they probably will be), I won't really care if there's some flimsy plot. You don't really need a great plot to have a good action…
Funny story: I have a friend who used to work at a tire shop and one day he heard the oil pump (the pump they use to pump oil from the huge drums into people's cars) running abnormally long. He went over to the tech operating it and discovered that the tech thought that the dial that read out how much oil put in read…
Beat me to it. Cue all of the people claiming this is racist but it's more or less common knowledge in the auto industry that Chinese companies are actively steeling information and conducting espionage. Also the fact that I can think of a handful of people who have actually had to deal with it on a first hand basis.
Tyler, I'm glad you hate everything being labeled "drone" as much as I do.
Plus, think how cool it'll look at the spaceport with all these rockets gently dropping down to land. I'm picturing them coming down like rain, which won't, of course, happen, but try and stop me.
I motion that we use the EcoBoost mustang as the basis for this comparison.
I believe we have spoken about this Tom.
Andrew, I normally like your articles but I have to pick on you a bit:
I see, I only read my comment and your reply which wasn't enough context. Sorry about that. On the plus side I found that awesome cat gif.
This is one of my all time favorite Archer lines.
I think you replied to the wrong person.
1st Amendment =/= license to slander.
I was curious too.
Here is a helpful list. That list only lists IR655 as being downed by a SAM but it's pretty much been established that MH17 was shot down by a SAM as well. There appears to be a few close calls as well.
No price yet? Damn, I was hoping we'd be able to get this on the hp/kip-$ scale.
We all are...
People assume that because the tech exists it's not difficult to implement. Good ole armchair engineers. (that is, people who engineer things hypothetically from their armchairs not people who engineer armchairs, which would require a lot of knowledge of ergonomics and probably mechanism engineering.)
Oh boy, how many times I've wanted to ask to see people's engineering degrees...
Having driven racecars, things simply do not phase you because you're so focused on keeping the car on line, as fast as you can within the limits of traction. It's so much different than driving on the street that it's hard to describe.
