Midwesterner here, TOTALLY AGREE! If they aren't going to bother to distinguish the major cities of the Midwest from cornfields and dairy farms, L.A. Is close enough.

As a matter of convenience, it's hard to argue with your point. I would prefer to have a dealership within walking distance but I would rather have a bargaining chip when it comes to warranty.
I agree mostly with Vin's reply, the car market now is very different than it was in the 70s. For 1, the idea of domestic and foreign cars has blurred. Many American cars are made in Mexico, many foreign cars are made here in the US. Honestly, the Acura MDX is more American than Japanese.

I have plans to buy one. I want it because it's the first of hopefully many cars to use carbon fiber as a structural material. And it's awesome, sexy, and all of those other things.
Maybe because marijuana is illegal in most of the US including Texas. Also, a lot of illegal drug trade comes in through Mexico. I would say that this is in poor taste.
