Yup, same with the lies on twitter. They know that all they have to do is say “yeah, they totally attacked us first!” The people who want to believe it will have their opinions validated and never follow up or look for accurate information. Even when they take it back, the lie is already out there. 

Oh yes, ibuprofen and ice packs are my life now. I sprained my foot about a year ago and the doctor told me that it’s okay to take high doses of ibuprofen in the short term to reduce inflammation from serious injuries.

And what race were those armed protesters? Black people have been shot for holding wallets and cell phones, you can’t think an armed BLM group would be treated the same way as the white “I don’t like masks” babies.

Yup. The boogaloos want a new civil war. They’re right wing but they do want to fight cops. They call their activities “luaus” because they plan to “roast pigs,” hence the Hawaiian print. 

I am certain that it’s ignorance on her part, but I cannot get over that she chose to wear Hawaiian print, the trademark of the right wing militant Boogaloo boys currently instigating violence at protests.

I recently got home from a protest in my city and got to witness yet another example of white people stirring shit and deliberately trying to push the protests toward chaos.

Worth noting that after the Sherman Park riots in Milwaukee, one of the “destroyed” buildings in the neighborhood was redeveloped into the Sherman Phoenix, a hub for POC-owned businesses and venue for community events.

I stopped watching it. It’s very cleverly written but they also had a “token girl” cast situation and when critiqued on it, shrugged it off saying “but that’s just how Silicon Valley is.” Perhaps that’s true, but you’re not making a biopic, here. 

Valerian freaks me out. If I’m very tired and just need a push to sleep, it’s okay, but if I’m not super tired already it makes me anxious and actually keeps me up. Brain chemistry, man.

If the 18-34 set actually fucking voted I’d be more concerned about this.

Every single thing I’ve ever taken to assist sleep has given me insane dreams. Ambien, valerian, melatonin, and seroquel, off the top of my head. Especially seroquel. (I have bipolar so I sometimes take serious sleep aids to avert manias.)
