That is already illegal. No company can legally fire you for talking about your salary with other employees. It’s part of your right to discuss working conditions.

That’s illegal if you’re in the US. Look up the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 (NLRA). There are some even stronger statutes at the state level, so check your state as well.
When I was a kid, bike racks were damn near everywhere.
I choose to believe this entire article is a thinly veiled excuse to fulfill your resolution to use “loosey-goosey” more often this year.
My wife just had Omakase at Shiro’s sushi in Seattle. There’s no way I could have handled all of that, but it was a hell of a thing to watch. There was one piece of eel that ended up quickly palmed in a spare napkin into the purse without anybody noticing, but otherwise, she ate every. last. piece.
I play a different version, my MIL tells us what she thinks our resolutions should be and then a fight ensues, at’s lively and exciting, but not really fun.
No highway was ever designed to handle the traffic it actually does.
this is some depressing shit we women go through...but its on another level when the men you gotta share a workplace with can’t even be half as professional as you. we have to be the calm ones, the ones that have more understanding of why our colleagues/bosses can’t not make that sexual joke or keep their fucking…
The article already makes that very clear, and specifically says “should you forget to renew, you’ll be unable to restart your paid subscription.”

I mean the very fact that they’re using the reveal of a person being trans for shock value is offensive in and of itself.

I’ll share what a Hungarian colleague said to me, when I told him, Hungarian was far more difficult than German: “That’s not true, here with us even the small children speak it!”
Did she try using Spanish language materials? I found Spanish pretty easy to pick up with my French and I think a lot of it is that I was actually using Duolingo’s Spanish for French speakers course.
It may be worth it to also check for Mango.
YMMV but Rosetta Stone offers subscriptions to libraries so, if you’re lucky, you may be able to access the app for free by owning a library card.
My daughter has 15 years of Spanish in school and so is fluent in both English and Spanish. She’s in her second year of teaching Spanish. Now comes her boyfriend who is taking French in school. She got the bright idea that learning French would be fun and easy because of her Spanish...but it’s NOT.
When announced to the class they could all stare blankly, look around the room at each other, then say “Who?”
There are about 80 titles that are free, not including the preview issues. Most of them are primers, but for someone trying to start with newer books, it’s not a bad start.
