Since the key is assigned to your account whether you redeem it or not, no, they save no money if you don’t pick up your games. Also it’s like 2 clicks. Keys on your account are sorted by date. You’re just being lazy.

Really? Any month I use Humble Bundle, all I have to do is go to my account page, and click on “Keys”. There is even a handy filter to remove any that are already redeemed. That's like, two clicks? Is this not the case for you?

It would have been a more fitting punishment to just force them to keep playing... for life.

banning 4 people? there goes half the playerbase.

The worst part was, it wasn’t the fire that killed his brother, but the Black Dragon Ninja that dueled him in a battle to the death amongst the flames.

Except there’s no predatory action being used with trading cards as do companies that create lootboxes use to prey on people. There’s psychology of manipulation surrounding lootboxes.

However, you’re right. Gambling has it’s own rules, but the psychology used in its mechanics is most definitely used on lootboxes.

Or perhaps best with players that know the game better and/or do not overthink.   I find myself in a lot of games impatient for my turn as others wait until their turn to even begin to decide what to do...

A n-bomb is

this is a good way to get in, but once you find the friends that will keep with it, it is going to cost you hundreds of dollars.  my wife is about tired of the monthly minifigure cost for the game we play, and has threatened to set fire to everything D&D, and she plays.

Everytime I see one of these I’m reminded of Alfa 91.3 FM; an annoying-ass radio station in Mexico City and Monterrey. My biggest impulse inmediately is to buy one just to amend the bad radio habits of my fellow citizens. I’d put this in traffic with Alfa’s code and try to beat them.
