A lot to look forward to on this list...

Save for lag-switchers. I’ll take my losses all day to legit opponents, but if you’re cheating I’m just taking my ball and going home, you don’t get the win.

Scorpina

I’d really like to hear what you find “convoluted” and “complex” about it. You either find them and kill them, or pay the in-game currency to recover them.

Something something gorilla warfare.

...including Iron Man and Captain America from the Marvel side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom.

Art and assets are covered by “media.” They are demanding everything “Doom” be stripped from the project. How is that not effectively shutting it down? What of value would remain?

I remember playing this before it had a tile set, just ASCII characters. Sad to see it being taken down after all this time, but launching the Kickstarter campaign and drawing all that attention was pretty much asking for it.

At ten minutes per pound plus 15-20 minutes resting afterwards that’s plenty of time to assemble everything else and then toss them in one after the other when the bird comes out.

Doesn’t look like anything to me.

I did the same thing when the local Blockbuster phased out VHS anime, and before the DVD boom. Still have them all in a box, waiting for me to catalog and acquire digitally.

Looking back, I recognize that most of that Streamline/Orion stuff was hot garbage, but goddamn do I miss those days.

*BOOP*

This... is a surprisingly strong list. I’d bump Mario paint just because, yeah, mouse and all, and throw either Contra 3 or Uniracers in there, but holy hell would I buy the crap outta one of these.

I’m so split on this thing. On the one hand, I’ve been emulating for 15 years now, so it’s just difficult for me to spend money on games I already have access to. On the other hand, even if I were to never even hook it up, it’s an adorable little piece of nostalgia that would look nice on my desk.

Really wish they hadn’t included the “super inspirational” music. Runs like this I like to be surprised when they finally make it, not be told in advance “Hey, this is the one.”

He was the designer. You have to beat your own creations to prove they’re not impossible before the system lets you upload them.
