Yeah, I was totally on board through the first minute or so, but when he actually climbs on the bike and takes off the animation just has no weight to it.

I didn’t mean to “rescue” the guy, and if he did in fact intend that line as a jab at people then I agree it’s a bad look, but we’re both just guessing at that intent. I just shared my outlook on it. That’s how I interpreted it when I read it, I didn’t go back after the fact and try to spin things, no “real effort”…
I don’t see it as mocking those that pointed it out, though. It reads, to me at least, like self-deprecation. That “fanboy” comment referenced the “whatever it does” line as snarky, but to me it just came across as Ol’ Man Fahey that doesn’t quite get technology, which might not be the greatest persona to take on,…
There’s constructive criticism, and then there’s...
Maybe, I won’t deny he’s been my favorite writer around here for years now, but I just don’t understand all the backlash over the original mistake. No one’s going out and buying a console based solely on Fahey’s write up of another source’s breakdown video. People who don’t understand the difference aren’t going to…
You do not have enough stars. Please, take mine.
Shannon Elizabeth?
I believe it’s chosen before you go in, a la SFxT’s gem system (because we all loved that idea.)
It’s cycling through various costume pieces. It’s a core game mechanic this time around rather than just cosmetic.
You’ve been corrected to death already, but I don’t think anyone’s pointed out that the various costume pieces are part of the game’s mechanics this time around, granting various buffs. I think it’s relying on folks already knowing that because it cycles through them way too fast.
To 2: The price of a gallon would just go through the roof to compensate.
Not the same technique. This is an add-on process done to milk that has already undergone typical High Temp, Short Time pasteurization, and doesn’t change the flavor profile like Ultra High Temp pasteurization does.
No mention of Martys? I’ve only read the Wiki entry and the mere CONCEPT of the film stuck with me for days on end. Don’t think I’ll ever muster the nerve to actually hunt it down and watch it...
A:This post is 2 years old.
I think the systems in place just need proper explanation, rather than an overhaul. The idea behind the game is exploration, if you just drop a marker on a map and tell people where to go they aren’t really looking for anything, they’re just doing what they’re told.
Not sure how you come up with an hour and a half? Stream 2 for 4 hours, noon until 4, then finals on stream 1 from 6 until 8. That’s six hours.
I’m considering heading out to the local Bdubs and asking them to put it on, just to see the response.
This game, right here.
CRTs are much more uniform in performance than modern flatscreens. Brand/model doesn’t matter.
