They’re definitely drawing on existing Ingress portals for their Pokestops and Gyms. Common tactic was to submit crap like that bunny statue as a portal so you can have something close to work/home that you could farm. You’ll probably also end up looking for plaques that you can’t find. Prop one up on a

I can’t find a source on the altered version, reverse image searches either turn up the original, or nothing at all.

I wonder if he knows that third one was altered into some Three Percenters crap. Got a buddy that’s used this now for over a year, I didn’t think anything of it until I saw the original.

It’s okay. I lol’d.

Nah, I’m right there with you. I’m a little salty about the whole Neo thing since I just got my PS4 earlier this year, but that whole segment they did on VR has totally sold me on it. Hopefully they’ll offer decent trade-in value when Neo launches.

The one thing I had heard was the idea that instead of predefined variants like MKX, different gear could grant different individual specials. You’d then build your preferred loadout of special moves. It’d still be a challenge to balance, but at least we wouldn’t be looking at another SFxT gem level fiasco.

Without having to read a shit-ton of patch notes, what’s the basic jist of BNW? 6 has always been my favorite FF and I occasionally revisit it, but never through to completion. A “new” experience could pull me back in, though.

Aren’t the votes anonymous? So it doesn’t really “look like” anything to anyone but yourself.

Now that you mention it, I can’t remember ever seeing a MOBA clip on Hightlight Reel.

I think being “fun and simple” actually lends itself to putting on a good show, though. The casual audience can enjoy the spectacle of it all without having to concern themselves with the minutiae.

To be fair, he never calls it 1:1 himself in the video, that’s Luke’s hyperbole.

Now this is a remaster that I’m legitimately excited for. FFXII was the one FF that I enjoyed on a strictly mechanical level. I couldn’t tell you a thing about the story after all these years, but the Gambit System they had in place was a blast to play around with.

I didn’t until this comment. You’re right, now I do feel old.

FFXIV is that game that I love for three weeks to a month at a time, then move on from. Twice now I’ve started fresh, gotten to the point of opening up airship travel, where you have to act as courier to the two other city-states, then... bleh. It’s at that point that the grind reveals itself in full and I just can’t

Holy shit, could you be any more condescending? I played Ingress for months, but I live in a small town and the local community was shitty, I quit playing after a teammate started directing the other side to my guardians for no reason but the lols.

This is sounding more and more like Ingress, which makes sense, but I’m also losing interest at the same rate.

They were acquired by a Chinese company, but they’re still based in Japan. They themselves are not a “Chinese” company.

I’m okay with part of that scenario.
