I only watch competitive games, so it isn’t unlike watching any other sport. I enjoy watching people compete in the same things I enjoy playing, and I watch in hopes of picking up some new tech.

Question for you: With Jason pushing Suikoden 2 so much lately it’s piqued my curiosity, but with only so many hours in a day I don’t want to jump into it if SKD 1 is “required reading.” How much would I be missing out on if I were to start at 2?

Is the story set up to be easy to jump into? I’m a huge MGS fan but skipped the PSP games. I’ve literally just finished GZ and still feel a little lost as to who these people are and why I should care. I listened to the tapes for a bit of a primer before hand, but it still just feels like a second hand exposition dump.

I think her out-there public image really detracts from an otherwise great artist. And I’m not saying she shouldn’t be that, her right, her thing, just that it’s hard for me as a 34 year old man to take her seriously. I’m not her demographic, but I am looking forward to watch how she matures.
