@Shmraggon: I was giving gifts to various leaders (trying for diplomacy win) and they would just insult me and become hostile, especially when their borders grew to encroach on my stable borders /groan

Another bug they need to fix. Losing diplomacy points because the comp is imposing on YOUR borders, not because you imposed on theirs...

@Thut: I know what you mean. Diplomacy in this game is completely erratic. It's like the model AI for diplomacy was Kim Jong Il.

I can somewhat live with the cuts but as usual Sega, all you need to do is give a small credit in the game and the fans will do it for free!
