Cue "international version release date " in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2..

@Bgrngod: It was part of the electronic receipt that gamestop gives you when you order

@nerdmanwhippy: It wasn't an ad. It was located at the bottom of our e-mail receipts.

@joewood: No, no we don't. A large company like [Gamestop.com] should not be giving away our credit card information. On our bills, gamestop said click here for a $15 rebate.

Thank you! I was one of those scammed and I was not happy. You don't hand over credit card information to 3rd parties like that.

Ahh good times. Made a good amount of money off these things during xmas

@Poul Wrist: I seriously envy you people with good broadband connections. I know Asia has em and so does Europe. NA however sucks. Believe me, if people started doing this you're looking at datacaps

Haha, Stweart knows our shame! That's why Picard Kirk & all other Captains!

@Chester Coat Sleaves: But that is not the speed off the blu-ray drive on the PS3 so that point is moot. The 360 has a faster disc read speed.

@munkatten: You're right, it is cost, just not the way you imagine it. Cost is going to end up on your end in bandwidth caps. I know this from experience.

@Poul Wrist: Have you honestly tried to download even a 4 gig game? It can literally take 2 days.

@Dragzonox: No, it's the price we are paying for living in too big of a place with a fairly spread out population (aka Mcmansions) instead of urbanizing (aka living in little boxes)

And that is what I've been saying all along to all you DD people.

You forgot the big plus of using it on your resume as leadership experience when you apply for jobs like V.P. of first person shooter relations.

Actually part of the problem with the resale value (the big problem) is the inevitable and impending release of the "international version" with rebalanced game play and added content. SE really knows how to milk the franchise in Japan

@GoonieGooGoo3: You mean have content that adds on in a way that forces you to restart over?

Playing imaginary games? Isn't that called schizophrenia now?

@bjorked: But they have a "WTF was that" type of storytelling . You know, the kind where you don't know if that was just plain cool or stupid.

@Powerlurker: Maybe that's why I play Luigi. I'm Canadian!

I play Luigi.
