A guy I know is an ECHL (AA) ref. One night in Anaheim, the ref (Blaine Angus) broke his nose. A linesman finished reffing the game, and my buddy got to line an NHL game.

I don't think Kanye is a musical genius but if he had modified his post-Katrina comment to "W knows who his base is and what his voting demographic is," he'd be right. As it was, he was still pretty damn close.
