I have the previous version of this (and damnit, I just bought it a few weeks ago!), and it really is dead-simple. You can pair multiple devices to it very easily, and it will remember them. Whenever you power the device on, it automatically tries to connect to these paired devices, starting with the most-recently

I’m sorry, but that phone is the single most disgustingly colored phone ever invented. It looks like raw chicken or something.

Would that happen to be the Song of Time?

Stop using “SKIL saw” incorrectly. This is a SKIL saw:

You’re definitely not the first to think of that. The only drawback is the rather unfortunate amalgamation of their nicknames: Meatworm.

That’s interesting, I’ve never heard of that. The strangest method I’ve encountered for parts that would otherwise trap their own layup mandrels is to use some sort of soluble material that can be washed out, collected, and re-cast.

I have never in my life heard anyone pronounce URL as “earl.” It’s one of those things that obscure and geeky enough that usually anyone too dumb to pronounce doesn’t have any clue it even is a thing.

I always preferred “sequel,” due to its history and the fact that it’s just easier to use when actually speaking (as opposed to typing). You may only save one syllable saying it like that, but it tends to flow much better.

I’m curious about the part in the GIF up at the top. Given the shape of the layup mandrel, it doesn’t look like the part will be able to slide off either end, unless it somehow disconnects in the middle.

I take it you work around the V-22 FP machines? I wonder how the size compares to the fuselage FP machines. I work at the facility that makes those, and the one machine is absolutely massive. In fact, I wonder why it’s even that large, since the other 3 FP bots we have are all much smaller, even though they still make

I own the G1W-C, which uses a capacitor in place of a Li-Ion battery to avoid the potential side-effects of baking in a hot car all summer long, and I love the little thing. The build quality leaves a bit to be desired, but at the price, it’s hard to argue. Cheap, decent quality video, and just a few extra features

Jesus Christ! What’s with Gizmodo’s giant, throbbing hate-boner for Reddit?

Yeah, there are some horrible people on there. There are also some horrible people on here. There are horrible people everywhere. Beyond that, it’s not really any better or worse than any other website. It has its specialties, and so do other

No need to be combative, and it’d be nice if you took a second to read what I said. Yes, the zoom is incredible. But a longstanding rule in photography is that the greater your zoom range, the more compromises you make to get it, and if you’re dropping overa grand on photo gear, you’re probably not the type wanting to

I really don’t get the point of cameras like this. Once you’re up to $1000, you’re in DSLR / MILC territory, which would much better serve you as a photographer. Paying that much for a fixed lens—even one with an incredible zoom—just doesn’t seem worth it.

I spotted some of the HMX-1 MV-22Bs flying over Philadelphia recently when the President was visiting Camden.

    “A lot of crashes lately.”

They come in both iPhone and Android USB flavors

Probably one of the best bits of advice I ever heard was "Spend your money where you spend your time."
