Just because the Nikon lens is *capable* of f/2.8 doesn't mean it was actually set to that. It wouldn't be difficult to make sure the settings for both camera setups were the same.

Now, is there any way to make it so you don't have to keep logging in again every time you fully close your browser? It's minor, but it's also annoying...

So THIS is how the universal translator on Star Trek always made alieans appear to English!

The hardware is old enough? Droid X2 was just released in May and is built on Tegra 2. That's hardly dated, even by technological standards...

Eh...yeah, ME was severely screwed up behind the scenes, but at least its interface never got in the way.

With Metro dominating pretty much everything, it seems like it'd be pretty nifty for tablets, but as for traditional desktop usage, it's an abomination. The worst part is that it doesn't *have* to be so horrible. If Microsoft just offered a simple option to re-enable the classic start menu and boot to the desktop,

For what it's worth, I'm gay and I thought some of those poses were pretty fruity. :P

Speaking of idiotic mistakes, it's "for God's sake," not "for god sakes." I mean, come on, use your brain for a second.

Not quite. If you read further into their product information, Teflon Silicone Lubricant is a special subset of their product that contains both of those. Teflon by itself is not a form of silicone, but it can be added to other products that do contain it. (To be more technical, the chemical formula for

Where'd you get "teflon-coated" from? Both links say it's silicone...

"It's a solution in search of a problem."

I chose "assumptive" not for the alliteration, but rather for the plain fact that you were making large assumptions about my motives (which were entirely false, but that's another matter).

It all depends how much you trust/distrust the public computer. If we're talking about a computer at, say, your workplace, where there's a good likelihood that things are monitored, but there's not a big chance of it being malicious, then it might not be worth using your phone.

    Yes, "but"!

Perhaps you want to download a file from Google Docs or something onto the computer you're using? Wouldn't do you a lot of good to download it to your phone, now would it?

This looked interesting at first, but it's turning out to simply be too much of a hassle.

I think it kinda looks beautiful.

It doesn't have to be a chilled seat necessarily...just not one raised to body temperature that would make you think of others using the toilet recently. If they could just make a seat that dissipated any body heat from previous users quickly, returning to room temperature, that'd be pretty nice.

Why do all these companies like putting in heated seats? I think that's absolutely disgusting. It's probably just the association I've built from non-heated seats, where any time you sit down and it's warm, that's just a reminder that there was another person sitting there minutes before, crapping all over the place.
