an 8k movie uncompressed would take like 2 Terabytes of space easy. So 1,000 Terabytes of space on disc would hardly be much data for an 8K movie.

The BIIIIIIGGGGG difference between the moon and mars is distance... Sure Mars has some nice things going for it, but unless you can get to the planet in a day or two a major problem will be hard to fix.
