This being a company I never heard of, I'm amazed the obtained the rights. How did they afford it?! Anyways great advert.

I love final fantasy, for the record 6, 8 and 9 are my favorites. But it's odd, because so many years after Chrono Trigger came out and showed everyone how you were supposed to design the gameplay of an rpg, people are still messing it up horribly.

@hagren: Because she's at Blizzcon.

927,000,000 hours isn't cool. You know what's cool? 927,000,000,000 hours!

@allstaraugustine: To be fair to them, they're probably just starting to study japanese and it does literally translate as "The Second Country" or something, but yeah that's not what it's meant to be.

@DrakeDatsun: I think what they're going for is more "The Another World" or some such thing.

This is incredible. I could not love Level-5 any more than I currently do.

@Date Masamune: Kotaku posted this last week, did you make this? If so, it's awesome.

Okaminers!

A million gamerscore isn't cool. You know what's cool? A BILLION gamerscore.

@gigglebook: Great concept and well done. I just wish you chose a source image that would more clearly and largely feature your image, since it's really neat.

"Rise and Shine Dr. Freeman, It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month."

14, the Ico one, is amazing. Kudos!

Half-Life 2 or FF7 in my opinion.

Great column, Leigh. While I too often profess my preference for single-player JRPG's or Action Adventures, thinking back, it's hard to deny the most fun I've always had gaming was when playing with close friends.

Another day, another reason not to buy Kinect.

I have to say, there are times where as a man I watch a film and miss the sexism that's there that I should be noticing. But in The Social Network, I was at several times actively offended by the film's portrayal of females. Especially the "how does this videogame work, we don't know we're stupid" part.
