@Blah8: Yeah after the first line I knew what I was in for. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it.

@Faux Bravo: It's not really a copy and paste (unless I'm still unaware of the source). I think the comedy and creativity of it excuses it from any real "douchebaggery." After the first line anyone reading knew what they were in for and could have stopped. Don't be embarrassed.

@Hi-Im-Asylum: Ha! I lol'd. I may have been being sarcastic, but only in an attempt to ensure your maximum enjoyment of what is one of the best TV series of all time. Enjoy the rest of Bebop.

@AALLx: You're correct, and while it seems like a rather ugly, overplayed literary device for them all to have amnesia and forget each other, I still think they used it well in context. It's a powerful metaphor in many ways, but as opposed to getting too into it I'll just refer you here:

@Hi-Im-Asylum: Maybe he was talking about Spike from "The Land Before Time" series, you ever think of that?

Even though you just spoiled SOTC for me, which I just started for the first time tonight (damn you Wohdin!), I love your comment too much to really care.

@masterage: I saw a very similar list somewhere in regards to the movie spoilers (might've been on sporcle), but it wasn't nearly the same list all in all.

Kind of going off the topic of Japanese translations brought up yesterday, what games translations strike you as particularly well done? Which strike you as travesties? (I know this is often very hard to judge).

@Archaotic: Does every game have to involve Noctis?

To me the most obvious solution is to provide the option of having original Japanese vocal performances with subtitles available for various localized versions. That's the best way to get the most effective translation across in my opinion, but of course many prefer dubs.

@Mason VanGaalen: Didn't know that, thanks. Guess it was obvious in retrospect.

It's ironic how abstract and broad the terms he tries to compare this game to Bioshock on in order to justify keeping the name, when Bioshock itself was essentially a System Shock that many argued did not need a name change.

@Diesel: Yep, played it via XBLA.

My backlog of games in my possession which I have yet to play is growing. I have:

Hey, it's that skeleton.

@Brettbox: Oh Brettbox, you're too kind.

@2NinjasTapedTogether: Thanks Ninjas, glad other people thought it was funny and not just me being absurd.
