Just saw it. I think it can best be described as The Italian Job meets that episode of Futurama where they eat the Space Honey.

@B-Money: Shutter Island was a pretty great film, I thoroughly enjoyed the ending.

So absurd. Honestly the two seconds of volleyball in Castle Crashers was probably enough videogame volleyball to hold me over for the rest of my life, but this was never really about the volleyball was it?

@Tidusx100: correct you are, typo on my part.

@Budkin: Yes thanks, I've since realized the error.

Is the 4gb amount really such a deal killer? I still think the 200$ price tag for the new arcade model bundled with Kincet is surprisingly reasonable, and getting your own hard drive for the available slot isn't all that difficult and leaves room for those who want more to splurge.

That title is awful, I hope they change it, but I still maintain that this game could be very interesting.

@Bard of Awen: I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, but for me, the shop system was the least of that game's problems. Here's to high hopes for vs. 13!

@urfe: Probably makes sense. I played them in high school only about 4-5 years ago, and was a fairly veteran jrpg player by then, so it was quick. I hear ya though, I spent so much time on the first two dragonquests(warriors) as a kid, when now I can fly through them.

@urfe: Hmm, you could be right, but if it did say that in those packets it was a lie. Final Fantasy II (IV) took max 20 hours to do everything in, and III(VI) only about 25. And those games were some of the best RPG's ever made. I enjoy about 30-40 hr games nowadays I think, but I wouldn't judge a game for being too

@AALLx: Ha, nice catch, they do indeed.

I think I might prefer this. I always found the controlling the avatar thing sort of gimmicky. But this actually raises an interesting point, I've never considered how it might feel different controlling a photo-realistic self of some other character.

Should you buy a Wii, UPDATED 07/08/10: Now that The Last Story trailer has been seen, the answer, no matter what the conditions, are a resounding YES!

@jayunreal: Yeah so it seems, thanks for the info. I ended up buying Professor Layton and the Curious Village on Amazon for my new Ds game anyways.

@bakagaijin: Already bought it a few weeks ago for 35$, playing it now :-). I just got the sword.

I really agree with Bash here, a next gen for Microsoft or Sony would be totally unnecessary. Where's there to go in new hardware at this time? They've already maxed out resolution, at least until people start getting 2k TV's, and I doubt either could implement significant graphical hardware updates to warrant a new

In many ways I think it's fair to say Pixar is the last beacon of creativity left in Hollywood. Their last 3 films have been incredible.

@OmegaSpartan08: Yeah I know, I was actually trying to express how I was surprised it wasn't more expensive. I feel like a used Ico and a used Mario and Luigi: Inside Bowser's Story shouldn't be within 5 dollars of each other.

At two different gamestops yesterday I saw Mario and Luigi: Inside Bowser Story, at one it was going for 34.99$ new, the other for 34.99$ used. I also saw an Ico at the gamestop at union square in nyc for 40$ used. Nothing there makes sense to me anymore.

At this point I think I'd rather wait six-months to gauge gamer reaction and price drop than get my hands on three dlc guns.
