Actuallt that isnt their job, nor is it an employee, a teenager job to act as a bouncer. Have you seen the way people are reacting to this shit.

Fair enough.

I consider myself a leftist, and I absolutely side with In-N-Out on this. It should not be the job of any food service employee to check the vaccine status of any patron.

It is rather unfair to put the onus on low-level fast food employees to check everyone’s vaccination cards, regardless of In-N-Out’s true intentions here.

If I’m reading the TBT article correctly, this is the road this idiot was going 116 mph on. WTAF was he thinking?

We call it the Major Accident unit here. Since this was not a fatal incident. Would they still roll the fatal traffic unit? I know some police departments use the same detectives for homicide as they do for major bodily injuries.

The 6 cyclists’ attorneys have a good write-up about the accident and how they’re proceeding.

The one thing I will say in support of Flay’s shows is that they were at least about cooking. So much of Food Network programming anymore is stupid cooking competition shows. I’m not at all interested in seeing anymore holiday cupcakes, thank you.

I thought most at Edmond’s Field knew that she was Aes Sedai right from the start. Unfortunately the copy of The Eye of the World at the library I work at is currently checked out, so I can’t confirm right now, but Leigh Butler’s commentary at Tor.com suggests that neither her nor Lan made any particular effort to

I don’t know what Raising Cane’s pays relative to their competition, but I will say that they consistently have the friendliest staff of any fast food place I ever go to. So it seems they’re doing something right with their training and culture.

I don’t know if it’s PR on the part of Raising Cane’s, but i know McDonald’s Corp. made all executive hires do a stint in their corporate-owned restaurants, at least until the late 1990s and probably later. Everybody who went through their Hamburger Univ. had to do a stint in a real McD’s restaurant. They also send

I work at the corporate HQ for a large manufacturing company. There are a few hundred people in our office and a few thousand who work in our manufacturing plants. We’ve had a banner year for orders, but one plant in particular is way behind on its orders and is having trouble hiring to keep up with demand. So TPTB in

I am also rooting for T’Lyn to join the Cerritos. The main quartet getting a fifth member sounds like perfect season 3 material to me!

One of the thing I love about Lower Decks is how it plays with character types.

He meant to roll coal. If his stupidity resulted in someone getting seriously hurt, he needs to pay the price. His parents obviously put the idea in his head, and allowed him to drive a huge truck. While kids are not known for making good choices to begin with, this goes beyond “I didn’t mean to”. For example, a bank

If they’re calling in an outside special prosecutor, and the local DA is going to great pains to say that his office is a separate entity from the local police department, I’d venture that this is a City of Waller police senior officer/chief’s kid. Or the parents are so wired into the local community that all the

To each his own. I don’t think I’ve subbed to Netflix since the Witcher, and won’t until the new season. (Actually that’s a lie, I think I was subbed a month or two last year for Evangelion, Floor is Lava and Dark). I keep the Disney+ sub rolling.

The “tapping” isn’t for evening out the top. It is to remove large air pockets that can cause an uneven texture in the cake (also known as tunneling).

This, but also flipping them upside down if the dome is mild.

Bioshock would have been a more interesting game if they’d done what Levine wanted to and made doing the morally right thing harder (where you’d be forgoing Adam by saving the little girls rather than harvest them), rather than roughly equivalent. Apparently the publisher didn’t think that players would try to save
