You all are not seeing the actual issue. The real issue is there is nowhere to put the containers. LA/LB needs to temporarily relax their standard of only allowing containers to be stacked 2 high to 6 high. Open some federal land temporarily near the ports for storing the containers.

Uber and Lyft have made it possible for the non-tourists in Vegas to actually get a ride when they need one. Before they shows up the taxis only served tourists.

That’s part of my point. We saw the video of that poor hostess at a restaurant in NYC get attacked by multiple women for asking for vaccination proof. No employer wants that to happen to their employee and workmans comp insurance will go up so there is a cost. 

SCOTUS rulings on this subject have pointed out that as time goes on that the state has a higher burden to prove that what they are doing is necessary. We have seen that play out with recent decisions.

Yes but is this an effective policy? Is this going to achieve what they want it too? Like I said SF has a high vaccination rate already so is this step really necessary? Is there a study that supports this rule? Also this is fast food so even if someone eats there they aren’t there very long.

Shoplifting isn’t prosecuted in SF so thieves literally walk into stores with garbage bags to fill up with stolen goods because it’s not being prosecuted.

The accident I saw them work on was not a fatal accident but one with severe injury. They said they work on those because severe injury can lead to death even years later. They do their in depth investigation so they have it in case it is needed in the future and for now of course.

Where I live the fatal traffic unit would have been called to the scene where a long and thorough investigation would have been done. I’ve seen the results of such an investigation and it’s impressive in it’s depth. 

I almost never get fries at a fast place now. I have a Tfal deep fryer and use peanut oil. Couple that with Ore Ida crinkle cut fries and they beat any fast food fries.

Worse is how bad Wendy’s burgers have gotten over time. For fast food they used to be top notch but now they are among the worst. 

That was standard for McD’s for a long time. It why getting financing for a McDs franchise was easier than most other franchises at the time. People who went through their program were much more likely to succeed.

I give him credit for his business acumen and I do think from watching Beat Bobby that he has a good sense of the flavors that appeal to people with most cuisines.

I like Beat Bobby but that’s it as far as the competition shows go. Part of why is they never get real crazy with the first ingredient and the dish to beat Bobby is realistic too.
