The weird thing is, while I agree with the sentiment that the word only “slipped out” if he normally uses it rather casually in his personal life, I’m being hypocritical because, while other offensive words, such as “retarded”, I used to say occasionally have completely left my vernacular for over a decade, when I get

Also blatant racism isn’t politics, it’s blatant racism. Though, nowadays it might be hard to see the difference.

Let’s dissect this for a moment.

Yeah, the real problem is us being offended whenever someone uses an offensive racial slur, not the racist himself.

Haven’t we had enough of “both sides” this year smh

What is defensible about what he said? Truly.

If you mean the second video... kinda hard to get a KO there, as it’s the practice zone to test out the weapons. No other players there. :P

Now playing

Well before Videogame dunkey, Knack was something to ironically feel is very, VERY important. Like, I’mma cry over this levels of important.

Exactly. There’s a reason devs shouldn’t always listen to fan suggestions - if it’s an idea you had as a player, I almost guarantee that the devs thought of it too already and there’s a reason it doesn’t exist. However, this is a terrible reason, and terrible analogy.

I’m actually willing to sometimes believe the notion that “game developers know what’s best for you” even though a lot of gamers hate it, but I will say that at least in this specific case with Salmon Run, I’m not seeing it. If there was another example, great, but this is an odd one.

So I’m not the only person that is distracted by those circles? Everyone else that tries my Vive doesn’t know what I’m talking about but it’s SO noticeable to me.

I have both as well and while there are good and bad things about each, I recommend people get the Rift. Even though I have the space for room scale stuff, it’s actually pretty disappointing when you can only walk two steps in any direction. The limitation of the Rift means the games are often tighter and more

Yeah, I am right there with you. I plug the Oculus and two sensors into my USB ports and I am good to go. I’m in a roughly 10 by 12 home office, and have no room for all the sensor stuff. Plus my first Vive had these weird concentric circles everywhere I looked. Something about the lenses.

Got both (because Oculus sent me a free Rift, only reason) but I’ve learned to like the Oculus a little bit more. It’s a lot less...fiddly. You don’t need to plug in a power pack, you don’t need to balance sensors at high points around your room. I think if you’re working in more space and you can keep it plugged in

The HTC Vive is now $599, receiving its first official price drop since the virtual reality headset launched last year at $799. That puts the Vive at $100 more than the Rift/Touch combo, though the latter is current on sale for a limited time for $399. (Updated with latest Rift pricing)

Hey guys, we got an archery expert here.

Milton Guasti, creator of the Metroid II fan game AM2R, has been hired as a level designer for Moon Studios’ Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Expect at least 70% more morphball tunnels and missile pods.
