    Damn, that Winston on the Korea team is inspiring. You can jump in, do damage, and jump straight up to get healed by Ana snipes and land right back into the fray. Freaking insane. That’s normally a death sentence but he somehow survives.

    Great piece. Videogames have come a long way. They require a certain dedication, and if you don’t have that dedication, that’s okay, just don’t frown upon the people that do have that dedication. I hope you child grows into someone with as much dedication as you.

    My main group of friends that I play with has one guy that refuses to do Competitive because, at least according to him, as a healer main (Lucio or Ana) he barely gets any points when he wins because it’s based on accuracy/elims instead of heals for his role. I believe him since we only played together for a while…

    Honestly I hope there’s still gyro aiming. Once you go gyro for shooters on a gamepad, you can’t go back (thank you, Steam Controller).

    To be fair, that Zarya pulled the team in to give him ample amounts of dps.

    I ordered those FILA shoes last time. Can’t comment on how good they are for running but I will say that they’re comfortable, super light weight, but are dangerously slippery when you first wear them. It got a little better over time but I still feel constantly aware of whatever surface I’m walking on at home.

    I can add mouse-gyro controls? I... this... this is everything. I love my Steam controller but there are plenty of times I wish I just had a right analog stick instead of a track pad. Seriously, the best thing about the Steam Controller is the programmable gyro controls for super accurate aiming in shooters.

    Episode 2 was Fall 2007, so 9 years. I’m still furious about how the series was abandoned after all that promising of NOT making their fans wait this time but after playing The Lab, I finally forgave them.

    Or, you know, take a break while playing the big 100+ hour game, like we currently do. :-)
