Yeah I figured a shock was coming after they didn’t announce the price until preorders were open and they’ve been announcing included accessories and games to the Rift, but I still never even considered it could be $599.

Solid concerns. Then again, have you ever sat in someone else’s computer chair?
I definitely recall Palmer saying that the FB acquisition will allow them to sell the initial consumer units “at cost.” If that’s truly the case, everything this case contains costs them $600...
That feels highly unlikely. Such a disappointment. I have a bad feeling that this means a lack of support, which means a…
I bet it’ll be around the same price or more because they recently revealed that the PSVR comes with an extra processor that plugs into the PS4 to give it the power to run acceptable frames for VR. The Oculus is just the headset and camera (and case, xbox controller).
You can thank early adopters like me that’ll let you come over and try out mine.
Imagine how expensive it would’ve been if facebook didn’t buy them and they couldn’t sell “at cost.”
Same. I noticed it went from estimated ship date March 2016 to April 2016. Fuck me.
Website is down for me. Refreshing. Any luck?
Sweet! I enjoyed what I played on Xbox One but I gave up after a while because the aiming controls were frustrating (big deadzone) so I just traded it in, hoping that the PC version would make the shoot outs much more fun. Steam Controller and/or K&M, here I come.
I remember seeing the early screenshots of the at-the-time hyper realistic face models and wondering if the next GTA would feature such realistic pedestrians, making it actually disturbing to commit virtual murder on virtual innocents.
Now I’m ragdolling at super speeds around GTA V with scripts, harassing much real-er…
Don’t forget Earthbound’s credits lists the player’s name as a character AND has a sound bite of the creator saying “I miss you” which was pretty rad in 1995.
And yeah, for a game that’s basically the Evil Dead 2 of videogames, RE4’s credits sequence is beautiful, tragic, and chilling.
WiiU and Xbox One work just fine with external harddrives. I have a 1TB 7200 RPM drive attached to my Xbox One that’ll probably never get close to being full, got it on sale for $65
Totally different game, dude. You see, in Layers of Fear, some paintings change as you move closer to them...
As someone that really doesn’t like jumpscares, Layers of Fear had some really clever ones, like the moment where you just DROP through the floor when walking towards a painting. Still haven’t finished it yet.
I’m playing Until Dawn now (on chapter 4 I think) and the jump scares are infuriating, especially since they’re often completely benign in nature, much like many terrible horrible movies. I get it if you find that stuff endearing but it mainly just pisses me off. However, it must not be bothering me THAT much because…
So I’ve heard. Yeah, it’s kinda like buying into Apple’s ecosystem and I’ve heard some of their practices are just punishing AMD users. But what can I say, I’m enjoying it. And I am using a 980 Ti G1 so...
Who knows, maybe I’ll go with AMD next time
Hotline Miami 2 is only an honorable mention...
We could be here all day.
Wait, YTMND? Animal Crossing?
Oh, it IS that one. Come on, guys. This one has been around for like 10 years and has been shared in pretty much every format. Still touching though.
Seriously? I’m kinda desperate though for some Battlefront this weekend (showing it along with the steam controller to a friend from out of state). I’m not sure when I signed up for beta so if I opt out, and I lose more than I gain back, can I join the beta again and get those profiles back?
