You know what this would be good on? Vita.
If this makes Dynamo Rollers less infuriating (sit back and launch a wave of death) I’m thrilled.
Also I like that Blasters can only do a max of 99 damage for splash. I don’t use them personally, but they do serve a purpose and will be greatly beneficial to a team - all you need is one more hit of something to get a…
CHAOS THEORY! I’ve been waiting for this. Ever since they took down original Xbox Live in 2010, my friends and I have been having to rely on LAN about once a year to get our Spies vs. Mercs on, and just to get it to work we had to delete all patches and DLC. Now I have a PC. I haven’t played Polar Base in over five…
Ugh, big ol’ white decal on that mouse pad. Can anyone recommend me a solid black mouse pad that doesn’t have any decals or text on the surface? My mouse works fine except that anytime I run it over the grayish text on my mousepad it loses track.

Max settings at 1080p? Remember, this is in-game but it’s at roughly 5K resolution. I tried it at 4K and it does look this good.
This affects people that won’t use it as much as gay marriage affects straight marriage, none.
Gotcha. Sorry, I think I was attributing your complaints with the more general complaints. Although I do feel like intent here is a moot point since this is a good thing to have. Do I think it should be implemented across the board? No, there would still be exceptions. But I would like to see it become the general…
“And, once again, you’re acting as if games don’t already allow you to access anything you’ve previously played.” - on the same platform, on the same profile.
I recently got a powerful PC. I’m playing through Alan Wake, which I’ve played through several times on 360 (holy crap does it look good at max settings). Sure…
Well
“But, beta extensions might even be more useful as a PR move, as it makes publishers seem like good guys attuned to players’ desires.”
I would’ve enjoyed GTA V much more if I could’ve skipped it’s many banal, or “shocking” missions.
That’s why I said season as well. Games are much longer than an episode of television. Again, this is completely optional.
I’m looking forward to the PR apology we’ll be getting from Treyarch in the coming weeks, a la the apology from Square Enix on the Augment Your Pre-Order BS, only completely unwarranted.
“We’re…
You’re the first person to have a legitimate complaint. Good point.
I’m torn since I’ve rented games and needed to know how long I had to go, but I guess I could look that stuff up online.
wow.
Everyone’s getting caught up in that one line about reading a book out of order. But, seriously, what if page 2 literally wouldn’t load until page 1 was read to completion? It’d be ridiculous. The fact that you can skip around in a book hasn’t made writers lazy, has it?
Of course there’s still an order to the levels. You know, Halo 5 is doing the same thing.
There’s no reason not to do this and it should be standard, unless of course, you have no will power.
True, it’s a little silly to jump around in a book you’ve never read, but it IS an archaic limitation to hold back chapters.
What if a movie had an extremely unsettling scene early on that you HAD to watch to get to the rest of the movie?
I tell you this much - there would be a fraction of Doctor Who fans if they had to…
They installed an innovative, brilliant countermeasure though: doing whatever the fuck you want.
Holy crap, there are people complaining about this? And you wonder why gamers are often considered whiny.
Why NOT do this? You lose nothing if you just play the levels in order anyway. Come on, people.
Let’s say you absolutely loved chapter 6. But you sold the game and your console. Years later, you pick the game up on…
Played last night in 4K at ~ 45-60FPS. It’s pew-pew-dreams-come-true oughta 10, would nerd-gasm again.
