Ever see the average tv commercial these days and how they use fear to get you to buy their product. It’s not exclusively used by people with a political agenda. Most of the times you hear people say “we have to protect our children” is another way of using fear to get what they want.

Fear mongering is unfortunately how we advertise many things in the US and most people are blind to it. We use fear as a tool to get what we want in far too many situations instead of using truth because many times the truth doesn’t support our views.

While I don’t agree with the assessment that you should take advantage of a refund if you enjoyed the game and currently have no issues. I also don’t like the practice of PC ports not getting the attention they deserve. I am glad they are trying to make it right though.
