I scoff at limited slip differentials. My Jeep Rubicon has Dana 44 front and rear lockers. I use it to pull people out when their limited slip differentials get them stuck out on the trail.

While I really have a hard time wrapping my mind around being addicted to a video game, I will say that Anthony is a very talented video editor. This was really well done. Color me impressed. That must have taken a lot of time to put together. Also, I'm glad he's over WoW. That's a silly thing with which to allow

Great story, Owen. My gaming time dwindled when the kids were toddlers up until they were nearly teenagers. It just gets super busy all of the sudden. You get a lot of extra responsibility at work because you're old enough and experienced enough to shoulder the load. The kids have dance/tee ball/soccer/girl

I've been to this con twice. It's a lot of fun. The LAN party is huge. The rigs people bring are very cool. Alienware always has a really cool setup as does AMD and Nvidia. The vendor area is probably a lot smaller than other shows but it's cool. I took my kids twice and they had fun (teenagers). If you enjoy

First of all, I enjoyed the article. I use a Windows laptop most of the waking hours of the day. I did recently get to play with a Macbook for about a month. I found it to be a beautiful piece of hardware but I still prefer my clunky but powerful gaming laptop. The trackpad on that Macbook was truly a work of art

I for one would like to see a replica city guard with an arrow in his knee although this is lovely too.

That would never work because there would be no one online to call you gay and hurl insults about your mother if you happen to be doing better than them. It would be like some other internet from an unknown universe.

Won't be much point in tracking down my old Flight Master joystick and thruster since computers don't have a MIDI port anymore.

That is the quote of the week! +5 Internets for Cerne!

I recently started playing Final Fantasy IV for the first time. I have the Nintendo DS version. What the hell is a "spoony bard"? I don't even...

Ah. Ok. That makes more sense, then.

I am conflicted about this. Everyone who has ever used the service knows that a large amount of the site's traffic was content that violates copyright law. That's a given. However, the site operators weren't uploading the content. All they did as far as I can tell is provide space for users to upload whatever they

This weeks question is interesting. I got stuck on the first puzzle with gel I'm a little ashamed to say. I cheated and looked at the first paragraph of a walkthrough for that level. As soon as it said to make a portal for the gel to pass through, I was like "Self, you are a dumbass". Then I started having a lot

I played through the single player just after Christmas where I bought the game on sale. My college aged daughter watched and thought it was great. I bought it for her and we played through coop together so she had never played either. It's interesting to watch someone helping you work a puzzle when they really

I did not know that MIT had a football team. I learned something new today.

There seems to be a lot of disappointment in Kotaku here. I can certainly see the point. I feel that it's appropriate for Kotaku to be up and reporting today. This is a news blog and they have been driving SOPA into the ground almost daily and rightfully so. Today Kotaku is reporting further on the issue which is

But I don't want to leave my cares behind.

I honestly had no idea that Kotaku commentors had any kind of bad reputation. I have often praised the quality of comments on this blog. The star system is my favorite thing about it. It makes people want to comment on topic in a constructive way in order to get one. When I say constructive, I don't mean "in

RE4 is on my list of "Greatest Games of all Time". There may be a subtle distinction between it and RE3 but whatever they did in RE4, I want more of that. I had to manage my ammo in RE4. The bosses were freaky and hard to beat occasionally. RE5 was nowhere near as good as RE4, though. I never thought about my

I'd like to think of both SOPA and Capcom as alive and dead.
