I am not a scientist. I am a computer programmer. However, I most certainly grew up in the 80s pumping quarters into arcade machines every chance I got. Good times!

Does anyone else think that looks like a Nintendo 3DS laying on top of a Sony PSP or is it just me?
I resisted the urge to buy one for a whole week. I stopped in a store on Sunday and played with one. I was hooked after that. The 3D is just awesome. I can't complain about the launch games either. Ghost Recon is a lot of fun. I am thoroughly hooked. I love the 3D environments. I will admit that it is not…
Some of them are very cool. Some of them make my eyes water. These provide a nice way to show my friends the 3D capabilities of the 3DS. I will just have to weed out the eye waterers. Thank you Owen!
I wanted to pipe up here and cheer the App of the Day feature. I really like these and find them very useful. Not only are you identifying great content for mobile platforms, but reading the comments always yields excellent apps to check out from readers.

Why on Earth does anyone want to have flash on a tablet or a phone? It slows down the entire web page, drains your battery, and burns through your monthly data allotment.
I have never played a Facebook game before. I'm trying Dungeon Overlords since Brian likes it. I'm trying to like... I really am. As best I can tell, I build some stuff and sit there watching it sloooowly do it's thing. If I want it to do whatever the current task is in a reasonable amount of time, I have to pay…
Lord,
I don't pre-order games. We should not EVER pre-order games collectively. I will explain why:
You also win the internets. It's a small black box with a red flashing light on top. They usually keep it on the top of Big Ben because that's where you get the best reception. Oh and congratulations on the star. Excellent work, sir.
I may be the only humanoid on the planet that loathes rhythm/music games. I don't like Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Tap Tap Revenge, or any of the other thousand variants.
@dickfreckle: You can take it from a former avid motorcyclist. I was well trained, certified, and well geared. I was struck going down a long, straight, flat, stretch of highway. I was travelling at 65 mph and there was a small county road with a stop sign to my right. An idiot in an SUV was raging because the old…
@RealmRPGer: At first I was intrigued. Then I thought about the fact that I have a wireless Xbox 360 controller in my backpack at all times. I have a big & heavy gaming notebook. The weight and size of the controller in my bag is not really the thing that makes it weigh a ton. It's probably the ten pound laptop…
I've raised two kids and they are truely joy of my life. I probably didn't do it perfectly but they are now becoming great people instead of "my little ones." People who choose not to share their lives with children are really missing out on some of the greatest moments of their lives which is very sad to me. I'm…
@Pirandello: I believe the level he reached is called felony or it's equivalent in Germany.
@truthtellah: I agree with you 100% but you can't criticize someone's grammar and use the word "douchebaggy" in the same post. It's just wrong. I had to give you a hard time about that. Rock on.
I wouldn't like auto-tuning. If I'm having an off day or just have a difficult time with one section, I don't want it dumbed down for me. I will plug away at it until I get it. There's no sense of accomplishment on a difficult game level if I know the game readjusted itself to "idiot" just for me.
I noticed my young son learned to play his game boy without sound. His mother wouldn't tolerate the repetitive music while driving on long trips. As he's grown older over the years I often see him play games with the sound very low or off.
@OutlawDominus: If it makes you feel any better, once girlfriend 1.0 is upgraded to wife 1.0, the gifts become very very very very very very far apart.
