"I could kill myself right now" is sometimes a drastic figure of speech for "I really fucked up".

No. Absolutely not.
I was definitely playing RuneScape back then and had been for two years. Looking back I wish I had been playing Final Fantasy XI back then. A shame I'll never know what it was like when it was popular.
Xbox One just seems completely inferior to me. Then again all I play on my PS4 is FFXIV.
These ones definitely will. The Portal one especially since it syncs with FFXIV.
You missed something important:
I'm always bothered by articles like these. It always sounds like everyone that bought it has been diligently playing all this time rather than the real story which is:
No. Her girlfriend skipped out on boarding the bus to basic training (she wasn't going to college she was joining the military and shipping to another state) and they ran off to Mexico after stealing everything of value in the house. There was even a little Spanish for Dummies type book in the house.
Well, I'm pretty sure the real intention wasn't to get away from it but rather to get the other players from his server to log off by holding the subreddit hostage.
Sounds nothing like a protest. Sounds exactly like a childish person holding something hostage instead.
I can see how people would expect a supernatural/horror theme. Unfortunately for me the develops posted right on the Steam page for it that it's not a horror game nor are there any enemies. Which meant I felt pretty free to move about with no sense of suspense.
She could have at least fled to Canada (where they speak English) instead of Mexico.) Sam was just a very stupid character.
That in itself is terrible, though. So her parents insisted that her daughter that was always acting out and making a note of how different she is from the norm while sporting boyish hair that was dyed and getting into fights was going through a phase. So what? Did she really need to rob her parents and run away…
See to me I just couldn't view that as anything but running away. Majority of suicides don't involve hiding your own body. They generally want people to find them. Sam was also most definitely not the type that wouldn't have made her death visible alongside a note listing people she was blaming for it.
Unfortunately, no.
I think it's important for games to at least have challenging aspects or a few obstacles.
Some point and click adventure games actually allow you to lose. They also generally have a good story, some mystery, and a lot of puzzles and inventory management.
the issue is that the story is boring and full of nonsense and that a girl with a scholarship that was about to live away from home decided she should run away to Mexico with a bunch of stolen goods to get away from her parents that were tired of her acting out instead of waiting one more month to move out and…
I'm surprised you didn't have it spoiled either since at the very beginning is a note on the door from your sister saying she's run away.
What Gone Home needed to be a good game (outside of a better story that isn't focused on an entitled teenager with zero resiliency that complains when she's punished for breaking curfew and getting in fights) was the incorporation of hidden keys and locked doors. As I recall a vast majority of the house was empty of…
