Even if you want to call Gone Home a game, it's still absolutely terrible. Terrible story, terrible characters, the final room isn't even really hidden and most people used to exploration games will find it by accident in 15 minutes or less, and it's about as interactive as a virtual tour on a real estate website.

remove the shooter categories and then Japan makes all of those. Shooters just aren't popular in Japan (they also frown on guns as a whole over there). I think a vast majority of my games are from Japan and they cover every genre.
