It throws me off a little. I love the feature and it keeps me from just mowing into everyone, but damn is it a little awkward that I can mow down 3-4 people on the sidewalk to run over a criminal and the criminals death more than makes up for the dead innocents.

Skimmed your thesis length post and wanted to make a few comments. You're spot on about what the reputation bar does. There's a spot in the menu that tells you your level and benefits from it. It basically ranges from civilians letting you do what you want under the assumption that you're doing it for the greater

I have yet to have that issue on the PS4 version. Either your playing on PC (I keep hearing worse and worse things about the PC version. Especially for AMD users.) or the PS3/360 versions are abysmal.

Killing people and blowing things up can lead to lower reputation and more police calls. Hacking a stoplight, activating street barriers/spikes, or raising a bridge tend to be the fastest way to get out of harms way.

If you don't upgrade your hacking every chance you get, this game quickly becomes a shooter or stealth game. If you do upgrade hacking every chance you get, though, you'll start to wonder why you even own a rifle.

The hacking powers are great. Weirdly, they make you feel less like a hacker and more like a wizard. Example: you can hack cameras to watch things, but while using that camera, you can then hack anything that camera sees, and so on. It makes little sense technologically, but it's fun for the missions you get to use

This game isn't very interesting. You might think, thanks to a two-year marketing campaign, that it's going to be a unique open-world experience where hacking takes precedence over gunplay, but nope, most of the missions I've played (I'm probably halfway through) are about driving and taking on guards. Just like GTA.

PS4. Your computer will thank you for the break and you'll find driving a lot more pleasant.

What little I've played on PS4 so far has resembled Ultra. Not quite ultra, but it's close. The complaints I keep hearing about the graphics lead me to believe the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are not nearly as nice looking, though.

PS3 by far had more quality exclusives than anything else did. Demon's Souls, inFamous, and 3D Dot Game Heroes would have been enough to tide me over for the entire generation to be honest. As stated, I own every console from last gen. 360 was absolutely worthless after the first two years. Best gaming choice I

I definitely used a different playstyle this time around. Tried out both dual wielding and spell casting for a change.

It didn't take me long to become a god amongst the undead.

Strange. I keep rating my consoles of the last generation as PC > PS3 > Wii > Ball in a Cup > Xbox 360

I'm not even sure Microsoft should be allowed to develop operating systems anymore. Then I remember that Linux isn't that popular and that Apple might actually dominate the PC world and I get nervous.

I posted before actually getting the chance to play, myself. I love my glowing sword-paddle buddy. I think I'm nearing the end. Enemies are 3.0 variants now and my tests all have 1-2 left in each.

My only question:

Why isn't every single action gloriously narrated like in Bastion?

I generally play a female character, and I'd say now it's just because it's habit.

I wish they'd make a full sized action adventure game similar to Legacy of Goku.

I actually tend to gravitate towards my Vita more than anything else I own (I have every system because having money is for chumps). The only thing I do outside of my Vita is generally playing FFXIV on my PS4. As an avid RPG fan I just really can't get enough Vita. Granted, majority of them are remakes or

Guess now I wait for the inevitable Halo themed Xbox One to get for this one likely disappointing game. I've already got the money set aside.

Cherish them while you can.

My Gold/Silver died out on me a few years back. They'll still play. You just can't save.
