It's also a remake, and a pretty good one I'd say.

I think it was Giz actually (or maybe some other site) that posted a while back about an interesting Facebook phenomenon. It seems that rather than fulfilling some sort of social lack, Facebook just makes us feel left out. More often than not, perusing pictures of parties we weren't at or invited to gives us a sense

I'm gonna just whip something up, shouldn't take too long. My question is: do they evaluate the apps first? Can it be just any functioning app?

pretty sure a couple scratches (especially big ones which are more noticeable on something like the iPhone 4 because both sides are covered in glass) seriously hurt resale value. I remember trying to sell my 32 gig iPod touch (300 bucks when i bought it), they said because the back had a lot of scratches theyd take it

It's not that great of an idea though: the magsafe was designed so that you don't pull your computer off a table/trip over the cable. iPhones, etc. are pretty light, I doubt the magsafe would pop out if you tripped over the cable.

not as much a mistake as a dick thing to do: posting college acceptances as a facebook status. it's fine to be excited about things like that, tell your friends and such, but for the love of god don't make it your status! i don't care as much, but there are plenty of people who will be affected by that kind of thing.

180 bucks for a mount is absurd...

Not if the rights holders are dumb about it though! In general, I agree with you. Especially music artists are often massively torrented, and see huge revenue losses. However, take the Walking Dead or Fox example. I used to watch all my fox shows on Hulu, legally. Now, Fox shot themselves in the foot by making me wait

best idea ever. AT&T should do this with texts, profit margins on local SMS are almost 100% I believe...

assuming this is really just a simple QR code reader, wouldn't it work from any major smartphone with a QR app? I have one on my blackberry, I feel like this would still work.

RIM's gonna come back. It's all in the OS. Sad, but true, at the moment if your app store sucks your platform is most likely DOA. RIM still rules in the push email department, and BBM would be great if my friends didn't all get iPhones...

Fire shoulda taken the cake on this one. Love the MBA, all-flash memory is pretty sweet, but the Kindle Fire is the first true iPad competitor at a legitimately affordable price. MBA has been around for ages now, the Fire brings something new to the table I think.

looks sooo much easier in the movies :(

Now playing

I can't stand this hashtag on facebook thing. At the very least it does something on twitter. They just sit there and make things confusing on facebook!

Also, I don't understand why people don't notice this more often, but we currently make more than half of our electricity by burning coal! Who cares if you plug your car into the wall, if the electricity comes from burning fossil fuels you have done the environment no services.

these comparisons are kind of absurd. Ereaders vs. Micro Four Thirds cameras? That's not an option!

screw bad checks, where the hell do you get a maserati for 60 grand?
