I found the translations rather awkward, one of which stood out for me is the use of "彼" (he) instead of "ヤツ" (can be loosely translated as "that bastard") when referring to Umbrella. Not that it's wrong or anything, it just feels off, since the tone clearly shows some hostility. Also all in all the translations feel…

Condemned. The best you can get is a shotgun with half ammo, you can pick up from killed enemies as well but they are rare, even then they will shoot you with it and you must kill them before they waste all the ammo. It was melee combat mostly. It was super freaky, I stopped playing less than 3 hours in.

I dunno, Amnesia seems to do pretty damn well with that. Pretty sure that there are people who do "hardcore" runs with it.

Well that's because the game is made for combat, most of them are unavoidable anyway. Permadeath adding to horror usually requires you to be unable to kill the things chasing you and thus you have no choise but to avoid them.

I'm not all that desperate anyway, plus I like collecting things, physical or digital. I guess that's why.
