This isn't bashing Nintendo. I work at Target, and this is definitely a very real problem. Whenever a customer wants to buy a Wii U game, I have to say "you do know that is for the Wii U, right? The new system? Not the old Wii?"

I beg to differ, It looks great on the outside in my opinion.

Micro$haft: Want to use anything, even IF you already have to pay for a service PAY US......Want a complete XBO controller $92 dollars please, Want to use your 360 turtle beach headset $50 for an adapter please......

Not sure if trolling or just stupid...

I've seen a bunch of people talking about how Microsoft are all good now because they've gone back on the DRM policies of the Xbox One.
When they announced it everybody was up in arms because Microsoft were treating the consumer like shit, but now it's all ok because they went back on it, they are being nice to us now,

nah, just a small troll..

Sorted & explained how to work around HERE

Your "Future" comes at a cost that is too uncomfortably high for some people to support.

Maybe you enjoy not being able to do what you want with the things you buy. If that's the case, that is entirely your right. You are free to do so. But the rest of us who want to play games without being told

what was next gen about the Xbox one that the ps4 doesn't have access to?

You mean like just about every other console "sequel" ever thats not nintendo? There doesn't need to be some big gimmick or change. Things work just fine the way they are, innovation merely for the sake of innovation is worthless. Id much rather them refine what we had previously then do something new just because and

Not actually hating but...

True dat. Imagine if the PS4 didn't exist, MS wouldn't have made any of these changes because there would be no real competition to force their hand.

Playstation 4 is the only reason the Xbone now has these "features".

Actually, here's all you need to know about the Xbox One - buy this instead:

"Fullscreen mode is only available to RuneScape members."

To be fair a lot of Japanese gamers seem pretty slow when it comes to new things. It's not seen as particularly cool to buy a console instantly. "I really want one but..." was such a common thing to hear from the ones I spoke to regarding the PS3 back in the day.

It may add depth to play, but what happens when a star appears right on a character in the middle of a fight? Or what happens if a capsule appears right above you and blows up. This type of stuff is not skill based or controlled by the players. It could be argued that specific items (such as beam sword, baseball bat

People should be mad, just like CovertPetersen said. Microsoft WAS NOT trying anything creative or 'awesome'. What they were doing was trying to rape you of your rights and money. Period. EVERYTHING Xbox said could NOT function without all those horrible features STILL work now that those features are gone. Hence

They kept mentioning that it was Xbox One exclusive and touting their partnership with Microsoft. The exclusive part drew the big boos, and each time they mentioned how they've moved in with their long-term boyfriend at Microsoft, it just provoked them to either boo or sigh.
