Same. As someone who’s been here for more than ten years, and mostly reads the political/snark/etc. stuff (Jez, Gawker [RIP], and The Root), the main attractant to Deadspin was when they posted non-sports stuff. I kind of doubt he is particularly committed to sobriety. But it isn’t healthy to see a slip up as a catastrophe that eliminates all progress either.

So, did she send 9,000 texts to him, or 9,000 texts, very generously and reasonably spread out among him, his new gf, and the relatives? Because that sounds like a very sane thing to do.

And like I was expecting the neighbors to be like “my wife talked to that lady 30 years ago and then A BAD THING HAPPENED” but they were just like “that lady talked to my wife 30 years ago, don’t talk to her!”

Um... “Toe head” brings a very different (and much more hilarious) picture than does a “towhead.” Likewise “heard animal” and “herd animal.”
