I doubt it was done by anybody who would be effected by an FIA blacklist.

Once again it's more of a hoard than a collection. The vast majority of the cars were apparently stored poorly where they were subject to weather, animals, plant growth, etc. The difference between a hoarder and a collector seems to be what his 'junk' is rather than how it is treated. When cars are kept like that they

engine? u-joints, sub frame mounts, pinions, transmission shaft....maybe. but engine? not really.

That's like answering the question, "are Dodges expensive" with the price of a Viper TA.

Says the person who obviously doesn't know what a canard is.

Just because we could buy Sebrings, didn't mean that we did.

Just black out the identifying information. And I assume you already altered the real name to be "Rod," right? If not, please note that I EXPECTED MORE FROM A PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST AND JALOPNIK WRITER. HOW CAN FERRARI EVEN LET YOU OWN ONE OF THEIR WORKS OF ART? FERRARI SHOULD SUE YOU JUST TO KEEP YOU FROM BUYING ONE

It has nothing to do with cost per flight hour. It has more to do with the cost to maintain/upgrade. The newest variant (the OH-58F, first flown last year) ONLY meets 50% of the "Aerial Scout" requirements. For comparison the OH-58D meets 20% and the Apaches (mixed with UAVs) meet 80%. That D to F upgrade cost $3

As for Rod: once it became clear I wouldn't be selling the car to him, he sent me a 500-word e-mail tantrum written in YouTube commenter format (defined as: a big block of text littered with exclamation points) about how horrible I am, and how much my car is really worth. I feel sorry for Rod, and I truly hope he ends

You should post Rods letter to you. Btw did you get it services at Algar? I love that placeplace

9.3 Traction control :

This is just what a road looked like when these were new, this is exactly what they were made for in the first place!

But the VSCC (of which my dad is a director & I am a Clerk of the Course for) do not allow replicas in to compete. The whole point of the VSCC is to keep oringal old cars like this being used like they were when they were new (yes - this sort of thing has been going on in the UK for a very long time!)

too obvious...but yeah:

The Mini! Make no mistake, they improved substantially on the original design throughout its many, many years of production, but it was a hit from the very beginning. Now, if only they'd been able to keep on going for just a little longer...
