Get Chase Sapphire Preferred. Not the Amazon card. 50K points bonus and free annual fee first year. At the least those points are worth $500.00. At the most $1000-1500.00 via various travel etc. Ill bet the $500 in gift cards is more than you get at Amazon (first year @3%) The Amazon card has no real bonus. After year

Get Chase Ink+, buy amazon gc at staples, you got 5 points for each $. With Chase Ink+, that’s worth 6.5c.

Philly’s cool, man. It’s huge, so you have access to everything, but the actual physical space of the city is pretty small. The food is good (both in terms of indigenous specialties (cheese steaks, Italian porks, donuts, pretzels, all manner of questionable meat products) and in terms of other stuff (surprisingly huge

I don’t know, man. This reads exactly like what Hinkie billed it as: a Buffett written investor letter about the Sixers. He panders to the VC owners and he tried to be humorous. Sure it’s not great writing - he quotes too much, and it’s not tactically revealing- but I don’t think it is supposed to be. It is a bitter

With Scott O’Neil running our business operations, you are in good hands. I can assure you that when your team is eventually able to compete deep into May, Scott will ably and efficiently separate the good people of the Delaware Valley from their wallets on your behalf. Worry not.

Preach! Another reason I prefer credit cards over debit is the extra security and fraud protection they provide. If someone steals your debit card, you’re out the cash until the bank decides to make you whole. With a credit card, they simply erase the purchase from your statement and all is well.

Precisely. As long as you use it as you would a debit card, they’re fantastic. Especially the premium/travel ones.

Wish my parents never hit me over the head with how bad credit cards are. cause they’re not! They offer you lots of free stuff and the penalty for taking on more credit cards is practically zero(a percentage of 10% is next to nothing in the grand scheme). I’ve been throwing away potential rewards(cash back, hotels,

We can assume that the DA’s office is doing the police a favor by not letting this go to trial, right?

Kristin,

I disagree with Cluttered’s viewpoint. Honestly, we live in a world where it’s hard to keep a career job for more than 5 years, you either stagnate or you’re tossed aside, so paying based on how long an employee might stay is probably not a huge factor, unless you’re temp or you’re in a position of high/low turnover.

There is nothing in the PDF to indicate that the pay gap is for the same job. In fact it seems it is female-to-male median earnings of all workers. It’s sad that you are actively trying to deceive people because the facts don’t back up your whining, Kristin. At least you put Glassdoor’s comments in there that for the

this this this. Its not a ‘myth,’ but its very damn close. for the almost all industries across the country there is a legit equal pay for equal work. It only really starts to break down once you get over 50+ hours of work in a week.

Fascinating Freakanomics episode on the gender pay gap.

Great question for sure! I think the Arrival Plus is about the best you are going to do, unless you can find a card that has one of those 3x or 5x categories where you just happen to spend a lot of money. But that isn’t a guarantee for sure. I like the Capital One Spark Cash for Business since it gives 2% cash or the

He pretty clearly didn’t hit him in the head in the latest hit.
