He’s a huge nerd, he definitely appreciates the source material. I think that would be a large part of his skillset for Defenders- having someone who really likes the characters and just GETS it, that kind of vision, you can’t put a price on that.

I went in not really knowing what the movie was about, and it blew me away. Totally agree that it is super underrated.

I think this is better broached as “why can’t we have both?” It shouldn’t be an either/or situation, y’know?

This episode was terrible and offensive. Let me explain why:

I think the evolution of Iron Man and his stance throughout the movies has been awesome. In Iron Man 1, he moved away from selling weapons and focused on Iron Man. He felt responsible.

He is the best part, no question. I saw it last night and it has a ton of problems but affleck as batman and Gadot as Wonder Woman are perfect.

He is a hardline conservative on most issues who is certainly more in favor of boots-on-the-ground interventionism than the mainstream, but he’s not a “shut down the government” guy, nor is he a bigot or a cretin. Yes, he holds Republican party line positions on every issue, and no, I don’t agree with any of them. But…

I actually don’t think I’v ever been in this room before.

I find poorly made movies boring, not fun, and tedious, even with my brain turned off. There’s a difference between well-made trash and complete crap.

When all else fails, remember: Zack Snyder is, has been, and will be a hack director.

You couldn’t be more right about Frank’s mini gun. The Hand’s whole deal is that their numbers are limitless. I don’t care how contrived it would have been. The fact that we didn’t get a scene of Matt and Elektra facing certain death at the hands of 50 ninjas only to be saved by a certain skull clad mini gun waving…

No doubt that Warren’s statements will elicit even louder “sighs” of regret from the Democratic electorate who wish that she was running.
